Stickerbook Whitepaper

Published: June 30, 2025

1. Introduction

Sticker collecting has always been about patience, rarity, and surprise. Stickerbook brings this nostalgic experience into Web3 through a new mechanism called HoldDrops—NFTs airdropped directly to wallets based on two key metrics:

  • Quantity of STICKER Coin held (Q)

  • Duration of uninterrupted holding (D)

Unlike conventional NFT projects that rely on minting or burn-to-rank systems, Stickerbook rewards real collectors. No gas wars. No bots. Just holding, collecting, and surprise rewards.

Stickerbook is a collectibles platform where holders of the Stickerbook token are rewarded with rare and limited-edition NFTs. These NFTs are designed to appeal to real collectors, with rarity traits, storylines, and future physical versions.

2. HoldDrop Mechanism

1. Coin Held Tier (Q)

Represents the amount of Stickerbook Coin held at the time of snapshot.

2. Duration Held Tier (D)

Represents the number of days since the wallet last transferred out any Stickerbook Coin.

3. Snapshot Logic

Snapshots are taken periodically and randomly (announced or stealth) to prevent predictable gaming. Eligibility is determined by evaluating the wallet's Q and D values at the time of snapshots.

4. HoldDrop Reward System

Sticker collecting has always been about patience, rarity, and surprise. Stickerbook brings this nostalgic experience into Web3 through a new mechanism called HoldDrop—NFTs airdropped directly to wallets based on two key metrics: amount of Coin held and duration of hold.

Unlike conventional NFT projects that rely on active minting or burn-to-rank systems, Stickerbook flips the script: if you hold, you earn. No gas wars. No bots. No flippers. Just collectors.

Evolution of Q + D Snapshot Logic with Duration Based on Snapshot Presence

Q (Quantity Held):

  • Determined across multiple randomized snapshots (T1, T2, ..., Tn)

  • Q = minimum or average token balance held across snapshots

  • This discourages last-minute stacking and rewards consistent holders

D (Duration Held):

  • D is calculated based on the time the wallet held consistent token balances across snapshots

  • If the balance remained stable (or within a defined tolerance) across snapshots, then:

    • D = T_last - T_first

  • This avoids the need to track outbound transactions and keeps implementation simple while remaining fair

Example Reward Matrix

(Q = Quantity, D = Duration)

R(Q, D) → Determines NFT eligibility and rarity

| D1 (0–7 d) | D2 (8–30 d) | D3 (31–90 d) | D4 (91+ d)

----------+--------------+--------------+--------------+--------------

Q1 (1–49) | None | Common | Common | Uncommon

Q2 (50–199) | Common | Common | Uncommon | Rare

Q3 (200–999) | Common | Uncommon | Rare | Epic

Q4 (1000+) | Uncommon | Rare | Epic | Legendary

Thresholds can be adjusted based on community input and platform evolution.

5. Drop Types

Each HoldDrop is triggered by specific conditions, grouped into different trigger types:

Example Trigger Type

Time-Based - Scheduled drops tied to calendar intervals (Eg. Monthly Base Drop, Quarterly Reward)

Behavior-Based - Triggered by wallet activity or thresholds (Eg. Anniversary Drop, Long-Term Holder Reward)

Event-Based - Tied to community votes or collection events (Eg. Set Completion Drop, Community Vote Drop)

Randomized - Unpredictable snapshots or stealth drops (Eg. Stealth Drop)

6. HoldDrop Tiers

Eligibility for NFT airdrops is determined by:

  1. Holding Amount

    • Snapshot checks balance of STICKER Coin in a wallet

    • Example Tiers:

      • Tier 1: 1–99 coins [Hobby Collector]

      • Tier 2: 100–499 coins [Regular Supporter]

      • Tier 3: 500-999 coins [Committed Holder]

      • Tier 4: 1000-2000 coins [Power Collector]

      • Tier 5: 2000+ coins [Legendary Collector]

  2. Holding Duration

    • Calculated from snapshot timestamps

    • Example Tiers:

      • Tier A: 0–7 days [New Holder]

      • Tier B: 8–30 days [Short-Term Holder]

      • Tier C: 31–90 days [Mid-Term Holder]

      • Tier D: 91-180 days [Long Term Holder]

      • Tier E: 181+ days [Extra Long Term Holder]

Collector Matrix

To reward true collectors, the platform uses a 3D matrix of Amount Tier × Duration Tier x Drop Type to assign rewards. Rewards are based on NFT Rarity Classes:

  • Common ~50–70%
  • Uncommon ~15–25%
  • Rare ~7–10%

  • Epic ~2–5%

  • Legendary <1–2%

  • Mythic <0.1%

This matrix encourages both greater quantity held and longer duration to unlock the highest-tier sticker NFTs.

7. Technical Stack

  • Blockchain: Solana

  • Token: SPL (STICKER Coin)

  • Platforms: Pump.fun, Jupiter, LaunchMyNFT.io

  • Frontend: Website for discovery

  • Backend: Automatic and/or manual scheduler tied to snapshot analysis

    NFT Design

  • Media: PNG + on-chain metadata

  • Set Structure: Themed sets with coins, collections and numbered NFT collectibles.

8. Conclusion

Stickerbook reimagines collecting by rewarding true engagement. Through long-term holding, evolving traits, rich storytelling, and eventual physical goods, Stickerbook aims to become the definitive platform for digital sticker collectors.

Collect. Hold. Earn.
